The Newcomers Club welcomes you to the area! No matter where you live, all are encouraged to join to meet new friends, get involved in activities and find out about the community. Also, if you are entering a new phase in your life, new friends and activities may make a transition easier. Come to a Meet & Greet to gather more information. The Newcomers Welcome Club is a social and philanthropic organization based in the Portland metropolitan area. Established over 50 years ago, we have an active membership of over 200. Our purpose is to provide a support network to ease the transition for newcomers moving into the area as well as returning and native Oregonians. We offer over twenty activity groups such as: area excursions, wine tasting, bridge, bunco, dinner groups, etc., which provide wonderful opportunities to develop new friendships and lasting relationships. In an effort to give back to the community, we also help fund selected non-profit organizations. The organization for 2023-2024 is Family Promise of Tualatin Valley.
