Tea, Cookies and A Good Book

About Us

This is a fun group that reads both current fiction and non-fiction on a wide variety of topics.  We meet on the 3rd Monday of each month from 1-3pm in members’ homes or via zoom.  As a group, we prefer lively book discussions to homework, so no extensive research papers are required by our lead book reviewers or the participants.  A short list of book review questions & themes suffices to get us going.  Thanks to our mid-afternoon meeting time, hosting is easy!  Everyone is satisfied with a small snack and beverage, as it is almost ‘tea time’.

At the start of each year, we create our book list from members suggestions and an informal vote.  We try to set our reading and hosting schedule in advance for the year, so everyone has plenty of time to acquire and read the books on a relaxed time schedule.

This group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 1:30pm.  Details of book titles selected, meeting formats or locations will be provided via email the week before each meeting.
